My first blog: here goes!
So I'm in the middle of completing my dissertation. It just depends on how you look at a glass: either half empty or half full. I have done 4,000 of 10,000 words, but those 4,000 has taken me almost a year.
Why do I leave things the last minute? I had the whole year to work solely on my dissertation but other things took priority and I end up wasting my time. Granted, I was slightly ill and that was my excuse to delay the dreaded dissertation for a few more months, but mainly it was down to lazyness.
Maybe, just maybe, it was a severe case of writers' block?
Now, 10 August 2008, with 12 days to go and my own personal deadline for Fri 15th..can I reach it?
I have also deactivated my Facebook account in an attempt to accomplish my task and the doom that lies ahead. Or will I start looking for another distraction, the Olympics perhaps?
In 2 weeks time, my life can begin.
